The Championship is in Full Swing

The championship is in full swing. We started with a banquet on Friday night at Golden Corral and everyone that attend were full by the time they left. Jim Young was crowned with Angler of the Year and received his AOY Trophy and $1,000. We took off today with 35 boats in calm wind and 36 degrees. Joe and the video crew went out and found some anglers to film. When the weigh in started it was in the mid 60's with a small breeze. The largest bag brought to the scales was 16.54 pounds by Scott Jones and second followed with Rodney Edwards at 11.97 pounds with Blake Felix nipping his heels at 11.94. Bobby Roberts, Mike Baysinger, Josh Wisdom and Greg Hauser ending the 11.00 pound range of total weight. Good luck tomorrow to all anglers. The results are posted on the schedule results page.
